While I'm putting together a larger mosaic I do at times need to do quick test runs to make sure there isn't any major gradients or other errant issues that pop up.
This is a 12 panel mosaic that encapsulates Ara and Norma constellations to varying degrees along with NGC 6188. The Prawn Nebula is just a little further over to the left of this region but I haven't quite processed that far yet. The full image is some 1.8 gigapixels in size so this has been shrunk down just a tad :P

Taken with the Sky Rover 130mm, ASA DDM60 and unmoved Nikon D810 which has done a better job at picking up the fainter nebulosity than I was expecting so I am happy with that.

Amazing detail, Colin. Well done. I am wondering why you picked the D810 over the ASI094 which offers the advantage of cooling?
Great work.

Thanks everyone.
As long as I crop it into a nice square format it'll print well Greg :)
Most of this portion I took last year before I bought the ASI094. There are a couple of bits and pieces in here that I've added to with the ASI094 but it was just to fill in a few black gaps where I didn't get overlap due to setting the rotational angle incorrectly.

I really like this. Don't recall seeing the wider area around the good ol' fighting dragons. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Andy :)
If you look over at 9 o-clock half way out you'll see a tiny dark dusty region, that's not something I'd ever seen before in this region.
