After either of the above cameras for guiding. Also looking for a 60mm guide scope, would prefer it to be in excellent condition!
Thanks :)

Hi Jack,
The 120 is fine as a guide cam (I use the mono version on a zwo guidescope).....I actually started with the asi036!

Guide scope quality isn’t that important so don’t spend a fortune when starting out. Initially I was guiding with a second hand beat up Australian geographic tabletop reflector (yes, reflector!).......was fine to get me going on the guiding front and learn the ropes. Cost me nothing......I found it in my nephews toy box and it was initially connected to my imaging scope with a couple tech screws. Hahahahaha
As amateur as it sounds it worked fine and gave acceptable guiding at 750mm imaging length.

I’m just up the road from you, drop me a message if you want to chat

Hi Jack, I have A T7c camera it uses the asi drivers. and a 60mm guide scope, I have since moved on to an ED72 and a cooled ASI 290mm camera If you are interested you can have them both for $200 plus postage which should be around $25. both are in excellent condition .

Cheers

Martin

Jack,

I have an Orion Starshoot Autoguider for sale in the camera's/imaging section if you are interested... My understanding is that it's essentially an Orion badged QHY5 or equivalent thereof...

It's not quite as compact as the ASI120mm mini or the QHY5-ii you have specfically listed but, it's not that much bigger...

I'm asking $170 posted anywhere in Aust if you are interested

Cheers
