Hi All
The seeing was good last night , for a while. Seem to deteriorate toward midnight as cloud started filling in again. Did manage to get some reasonable videos though.
Equipment used was , 250mm f5 newt, EQ6, ZWO 290mc, best 800 / 4000 frames, Registax.
Thanks for looking.

Nice one. You captured the GRS in a good position. I noticed that you use Registax. Have you ever tried adding Autostakkert to your workflow? It's free and compliments Registax well. It's worth a look.

Thanks, have tried Autostakkert but not seriously. Didn't seem to make an appreciable difference to quality over just Registax . Should use it more often and become more conversant with its possibilities I suppose but then again, I don't want to spend hours just processing videos and images to try and tweak out every last pixel of improvement. My rationale is more akin to happy holiday snaps than Malin Award entries.

Did a little reprocessing to improve the colour hopefully and added some images in the sequence.

Lovely sharp, crisp images...

Hoping to produce something similar with Saturn soon... it's my favourite planet...

There's nothing wrong with holiday snaps for record keeping. The good thing about data is that you can revisit it later if you ever decide that you want to try something different. That aside you're updated Jupiter images and Saturn turned out well.
