I purchased an EM200 USDII Mount head a few years ago and really never used it ...buy stuff and never use it syndrome. Anyway I recently started playing with it and note there is a slewing issue with this mount in the RA axis. Bugger.. I now was contemplating stripping the electronics and sending it to the metal recyclers. Options for repairing an USD mount are little to none. Then I came across ….

You have a great mount that has a problem that one knows can be fixed..accept the challenge to make it work.

Else sell ot to someone who can and will make it great again...not working..worthless...working its value...make some money and fix it.

No experience Hans, but good luck, these are solid mounts when used under normal conditions and loads.:)

I just traded for an EM-200 Temma 2 - I could use some spares other than the USD stuff if you are tossing it :)
