Apologies to Phil Hart, who is resting up and could not get to take home the Malin trophy.....it's mine! ...but very happy to share the overall prize with him.
(Just kidding Phil, I wish you a speedy recovery and BTW we both get a bust of John Sarkissian :)....your video was awesome, David could not split a still-image vs animation so he broke with tradition and declared we both won! )

Congratulations to the many talented Aussie astrophotographers who make the Malins the premiere AP event. My thanks also to CWAS, Canon, MAAS and the CSIRO. And of course the man himself. DM continues to surprise and delight with his incisive commentary and wit. This year was no different. Great to be in Parkes again.....and ponder what 2020 might bring :thumbsup:

Congrats Peter and everybody else there for the weekend. Many impressive images and no doubt a great weekend. I was sad to miss the buzz of being around astro colleagues and in the Parkes environment. Glad that my not being there didn't leave them short a winner for the mug-shots with David :-). I'll share a prize anytime somebody wants to award half to me.. Powerball next?
