Another Trifid, just because. Old data from over a year ago, just totally reprocessed - couldn't even find the matching bias and darks, so only flats. It's still only 3hrs through an 85mm scope with an OSC on a $600 mount :lol:

Now, a TRUE example of "extending and transforming" the noise :) It's about as smooth as a gravel road.

When I started astrophotography last year and posted on the beginner's group, there was often a monthly suggested target - cooperative, not competetive :). It was a lot of fun and a good way to compare your own work to others. Good to see it happening here... :thumbsup: Btw, I think my offering will stay as broadband.
