Good shot Mick, nice and sharp. What sort of film was it and how long was the exposure? I took a few shots of the moon on film last week, it was good fun. Happy to see I'm not the only one messing around with 35mm film! I'd post the pics but the negative scanner is playing up.

Jonathan, l was using Kodak 200 slide film exposure set at 1/250 l only recently got the clear focusing screen and varimagni so my earlier shots were pretty ordinary but this learning curve with 35mm film is rather exhausting, l've probably used 30 rolls of film in my attempts to get it right and even now only a small proportion of the shots are worth showing, every time you shoot you have different conditions so a lot of it is just guess work and keeping a track of what film speed combined with exposure times depending on what your shooting takes a bit of organising as well, what type of camera are you using?

Mick, I've got a Nikon F80. I've been using Kodak High Definition 200 film because I've got heaps of the stuff. Writing down the settings is important and takes a bit of the guess work out of the next roll. I took some shockers on my last roll, only half ended up getting printed, the rest were plain black!

Good work Mick, I have just about given up on the 35mm film at this point. Good to see when it turns out right.
