Let me explain what is probably happening.
When you have crook legs you tend to look for short cuts..so he has wanted to cross the street and rather than walk to the end and cross at right angles he has found the diagonal path I would say.

Man, if that excites you traffic in Brisbane must be pretty docile. What's the problem?: it's daytime, visibility is good, minimal traffic and he probably isn't drunk :lol:. Waste some time on the dashcam web sites and you will see things that make your hair stand on end. Turn left at lights via the footpath (check), turn right by driving down wrong side of road and entering intersection on the red (check), raise roof on your convertible by stopping in right lane of motorway in peak-hour traffic (check), obviously be in the wrong in a near-miss and abuse the other, innocent driver (check, check, check). They're out there.

I love my walker.
Besides providing security against falling it is an instant chair and has a good carrying capacity for drink bottles, ointments, creams, medications, road maps, spare spectacles, extra jumper, thermos, a small radio, compass, emergency blanket, small brush saw and sandwiches... rain coat and a note book☺.

But real men would never use one of course as they detract from the vision of wonderfulness many maintain about their public presentation.

While we are on about Wheelie Walkers,it brings to mind the time many years ago on the way to Sydney,I called in to the Armidale RSL for a feed on a Wednesday"Pension day" in those days, to find two portley gentlemen pushing their chairs together like two Rhino's,snorting and snuffling.
Other people in the queu just stood back and let them go at it for at least 4-5 minutes.
It was eventually broken up by the RSL staff,strangest thing was than no words were exchanged between them either in the skirmish or afterwards.
They just resumed a position in the queu,got their food and went their seperate ways.
All this was to the amusment of the other patrons.
One of the funniest things I had seen in a long time.
Brought a smile to my dial on my way down the highway.:lol::lol::lol:

Col, did you consider stopping and offering assistance?, I live in a very small town with an aging population, through traffic can be quite busy but our older folk think nothing of crossing the road by the longest possible route. Life was slower and we once had more time.

Surely, with a bit of ingenuity, it shouldn't be too hard to fit a mount for a small telescope or pair of binoculars onto a wheely-walker or zimmer frame?
