Hi all,
Inspired by Diego's beautiful image of M20 and given that last time I attempted imaging Trifid (https://www.astrobin.com/full/105131/C/) in 2014, I thought of trying again.
New initial Ha data: https://www.astrobin.com/full/412695/0/?nc=user
I honesty did not expect seeing so much ionised hydrogen surrounding the M20. It will be a nice challenge to show the fainter bits and make the M20 pop.
Still need a few more hours of Ha, and then will take samples of OIII, SII and NII and will see which two will complement Ha in the most interesting way.
Thank you for looking :hi:
