I am just getting into Astro Photography for the first time with a decent mount (HEQ5).
For fun, have a guess what camera / setup I'm using.
Settings are 2000 iso, 30 second exposures.

I have yet to build a full library of flats etc.
Processed in Photoshop.

Improved my processing a little by adding flats and being more careful not to lose things.

We give up Jethro, what setup did you use? :question: I'll suggest you used some sort of refractor and DSLR but that's all I'm prepared to contribute to the guessing game. :confuse3:

Well, I used a Sony A77 and a 100mm f2.8 lens on a HEQ5 mount
8 light frames at 30 second exposures and five darks (not enough, but I was testing everything for the first time).
I have a lot to learn, but won't have the opportunity to do any more for a week due to weather (clouds and rain have rolled in...)
