When I first purchased my Meade LX90 8" Schmidt Cassagrain Telescope, the box which it was packed in was pretty bulky. I looked through a lot of poly reinforced containers to keep it in but they were also pretty bulky.
I eventually went to a luggage shop and found a suitable suit case with a good frame and internal support straps and wheels. This worked out really well because I was able to store my solar sun filter in the outer casing along with some other small items as well.

Hi Phil, it wouldn’t hurt to add some details of what you actually have or a pic or two - it’s a perennial issue.

We had a thread a while back on assorted bags cases and such, but it has been a while so not unreasonable to revisit this topic again.

At one point I found a crowd in Queensland who make heavy canvas bag with zips to your dimensions for a very reasonable price - I had one made to fit my OTA - but then I found something even better - a very nice padded aircraft travel bag for a MountainBuggy 3-wheeler pram is also an excellent fit for my Santel OTA (a bit bigger than yours) and would equally hold a 9-11” SCT.

Geoptik make several useful bags - eg the TeleskopService website.

And there are those who want a bag for a tripod too, as I have (Berlebach Planet)...
