Captured some M8 data after Jupiter the other night (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=175715) and gave it an edit as a test run. This is the first time Ive captured M8 guided, with a modded camera, and with CLS CCD filters on the Edge8. My previous attempt is here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=167216).

This image is 13 of 180s ISO1600
0.7x Reducer
Upload cropped, downsized and saved in lower quality for upload.

Future captures and edits this year will be posted in this thread.
I'm thinking of trying a mosaic of two frames or rotating the camera 90* to get the framing I want.
Capturing more star colour perhaps through use of a lower ISO might be an option or using a stack of shorter exposures so as to not overexpose them

Your image has a haunting natural feel that is most pleasing. I like your approach.

It's sharp and has great detail, what more could you want right now :)

That's a great image Nathan. I sold my 8" Edge in favour of shorter focal lengths because my skies are typically unstable.

Nice job Nathan.
You've nailed the focus.
