G'day folks.
This is my first post on this wonderful website. Glad to be a part of it.

Apologies if this is a duplicate post, but I was wondering if anyone has an idea whether Scopetronix astronomy equipment is still in business. I placed an order that wasn't billed and my emails went unanswered. I ordered an EOS t-ring and a DSLR MaxView II for my Canon 400D but I haven't heard anything from them (www.scopetronix.com (http://www.scopetronix.com)). Their website is still running, however.

Alternatively, should I not recieve my goods, does anyone have any recommendations for other equipment suppliers for DSLR adapters?
I have a Celestron G8N Newt and a Canon EOS 400D.
:help:
Cheers,
Marc

There seems to be a few "issues" with getting stuff from Scoptronix recently. I'd suggest emailing them(for what it is worth  ) and cancelling your order. Other wise you might find it turning up in six months or so after you have bought your gear from somewhere else.

If you go here http://www.astro-optical.com.au/viewacc.php?accid=107&isp=1 (an australian site) you will see that the DSLR Maxview II is currently unavailable from Scopetronix.

Maybe check out www.myastroshop.com.au or www.bintelshop.com.au or www.astro-optical.com.au and see if they have something similar. You can pick up the EOS T ring at just about any astro optical store.
