Hi all,
I'm looking for a 24" or larger primary mirror, scope, or even if only a lead as to where one might be, that would be awesome. Substrate type & condition - let's talk.
If you are able to help, please let me know.
Thanks for looking,
Alex.
Hi Alexander,

Still looking.
If you have such a mirror or scope, please let me know.
If you know of someone with such a mirror or scope, also please let me know. I'm only too happy to speak to the owner if they would be interested in parting with it. No harm in asking.
Thanks for looking,
Alex.

Last I knew, stephen svensson (sopticals dot sas at hotmail dot co dot nz) in Oamaru, new zealand had a 640mm dia, 37mm thick, f5.3 mirror for sale. It did not sell at NZ$1100 (9 june). He says (and the ronchigrams seem to show) maybe the outer 25mm is slightly turned down .
even with the outer 25mm masked it's a nice big aperture, but you'll need a ladder.

Hubble Telescopes in HongKong advertise Mirrors up to 40 inches, but guess you are already aware of them.
