Hi Everyone,

Just one to hear your thoughts on using SVBONY (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SV105-1-25-Smart-Webcam-Electronic-Eyepieces-Fit-for-2MP-Astronomy-Camera-AU/283464630768?epid=11030380032&hash=item41ffcf01f0:g:vV8AAOSwF0VcN tpx) or other eBay cameras (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SV105-1-25-Smart-Webcam-Electronic-Eyepieces-Fit-for-2MP-Astronomy-Camera-AU/283464630768?epid=11030380032&hash=item41ffcf01f0:g:vV8AAOSwF0VcN tpx) as guider camera.

Did anyone try this before? Any issues with the drivers ?

Looks interesting and cheap!

I couldn't find an ASCOM driver.

Also found a reference on another forum site that mentioned a limit of 0.5sec exposures.

There are some other options on Aliexpress from this manufacturer that do mention an ASCOM driver and longer exposure times, but their prices are comparable to established auto guiders.

Happy to hear from others with direct experience as this could be an interesting option for a guider.
