Just a quick one for anyone interested , as much as I love my Vixen Super Polaris mount ,,, one thing really bugged me ,,,, :thumbsup: until today that is .
Being driven the declination body would clash with the RA slo/mo knobs at about 85 degrees to vertical both ways so I couldn't view at anything at the zenith without shifting the whole scope and loosing polar alignment :mad2: ,,
Today I was in Jaycar and spotted these knobs for the total of $5.90c for 2 , they are for electronics etc , the fitted perfect and now allow me to view past the zenith ,, I will test them out tonight .
If wondering about the small diameter of these , don't worry because Vixen mounts if adjusted well take almost zero torque to manually adjust the Dec and RA ,, sweet mounts .;) .
Also these knobs are well made out of HD plastic and aluminium with brass screws to secure them to the shafts .

ps. if they look a little tatty in the photo's , it's because I have not removed the plastic protective wrapping yet .
