I have too many OTAs that I am not using, but I want an OSC camera. My ideal would be an ASI071 but I cannot afford it at the moment, so I have decided on a Canon 6D Mk 1 second hand.

I have a very good condition (optically and physically) Samyang 135 mm f/2 lens with EOS mount, with my own-design 3D-printed support frame. To allow autofocus, I have 3D printed a follow focus gear around the lens collar, which can be driven by a Rigel nStep stepper motor mounted on the support frame. The whole contraption can be mounted on a dovetail. This set up rigidly supports the lens and allows autofocus (or at the very least computer controlled focusing). I also have a 3D printed B-mask to suit the focal length and f/ratio of the lens. I have successfully use this setup with my crop size Canon DSLR to take wide field like the Rho Oph image here:

Unfortunately this set up has not seen much use after that image as I also have a focal reduced Takahashi FS60CB of a little longer focal length.

I am willing to do a trade of this set up (lens, support frame, Rigel nStep motor, B-mask) for a Canon 6D with any differences in value made up in cash.

If you have a 6D and interested in a swap please let me know.

would you be willing to sell the lens?
