Actually I was thinking it would make a good finder scope... ;)
Imagine trying to take it anywhere (or keeping it in the house!).

I suddenly feel very inadequate!
So if that gentleman is, say, 180cm tall, the primary would be somewhere around 1m? Where would you get such a mirror?

At least 1m, more likely 1.2m.
You'll need to don welding glasses before pointing that at the moon, Sirius or Jupiter
