Hi all
Did 3x10 mins on Eta carina with Berts 300mm flourite lens last night. Idas uv/ir and Baader uhc-s filters used in back of Bert's lens. Also masked with 2x1 minute shots for the brighter parts. Modded 350D

Hand guided.

The stunning quality of the lens shows in that shooting wide open at F2.8 saint stars are pointlike to the edges of the frame. Shot from my backyard at Wallsend

poor old sampson EQ mount with a AN attached......fantastic effort too scott!

Yes thats right,I used my 1986 vintage Astro Optical Supplies "Sampson" GEM mount seeh here with the 10 inch scope on it
