Damaged indirectly as a result of a lightning strike on my observatory.
When power is now applied the handset does not light up and both motors turn the scope continuously until power is removed (same result using a good handset).
I have seen inside the fork arms when I was removing the OTA and I saw no visible damage to the electronics there, but who knows what might need replacing?
The complete fork assembly is in a very clean condition and mechanically this may provide some spare parts as it has not had much use.
The fork is currently at Benalla in North East Victoria (approx. 2 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne) and may be collected there. Alternatively, the item has good packaging available (free) and I could deliver this to Pack & Send at Shepparton for shipment to you, which will be at your expense.
If no takers this goes to the recyclers at the end of May.
Regards,
Patrick
