I recently purchased the Pegasus Pocket Astro box for my rig but need the power supply to go with it.

I can't seem to find it anywhere here. I think JayCar might sell it, I did find this one.

Anyone who has this bit of kit can you tell me what power supply you are using to power it?

Thanks!

Hi Chrys,

I just bought that power supply from Jaycar, but don't have the Pegasus power box. Ive converted a toolbox, into a sort of Battery Box and and home for my nuc. It is working well so far with either battery power or Mains. Ive simply got a DC splitter for the power supply (also from Jaycar), which provides 4 x 12v 2.1mm outlets. They go to the AZEQ6, NUC and Camera. Ive just ordered a WIFI smart power board so that I can control power to each device individually (but with multiple power bricks).

I like the look of the Pegusus unit you mention, its a pity that you can't individually turn off each of the 12v outputs. What mount does it drive? The AZEQ6 is fussy, any drop below 12V and its erratic. Jaycar have a 13.8V 20A which would be ideal for the NUC and AZ EQ6 but it might fry the ASI294.

A bit off topic sorry.
