Hi,
I have a fairly old (must be ten years) Stellarvue 10x60 RA finder with an illuminated recticle. There doesn't appear to be any way to change the battery, which has now gone dead. Anyone have any ideas?
thanks

Sorry I cant seem to view your photo. However I have have a generic 10x60 of the stellarvue (looks exactly the same without the badge) and if the illuminator that screws in to the reticule eyepiece is the same it unscrews midway where the small diameter meets the taper, may be tight if its never been unscrewed. The battery is in there. However being a genuine it may be different.

Malcolm,
Facebook is generally not a good medium to share photos - may of us for various reasons have elected not to be on Facebook.

Hi all - your forum requires a url for pics (as opposed to uploading them into the post) - what options are there to get pics onto my posts besides Facebook?

Got it - it was simpler than I thought! It's a weird type of battery though. I'll take it to Battery World and hope they can replace it.
Many thanks for the assistance
