Dang, imaging is out, well there is narrowband I suppose. How are you spending the Easter Long Weekend? Joining the queue on the M1? Cramming yourself into the popular holiday spots with the tribe?
P.A.R.T.Y! Whooo-hooo!

Attend Mass then out shooting rabbits☺.
If clear I will capture more data on something..if not clear I will process something..maybe do some gear maintenance....watch some sovereign citizen vids or US police shoot outs...a perfect weekend ☺.

Even if my observatory was ready (and that's what I will work on anyway), I wouldn't be imaging, because there seems to be so many clouds around, although skippysky suggests otherwise...
Alex blasphemy in the highest, and you the protector of all creatures.
You told me once you would let a Mosquito a free escape instead of spraying it.
Please explain :)(Pauline)

Hi Leon
You are correct..what was I thinking..even to joke about shooting a rabbit is unforgivable...on that subject we have two beautiful hares living nearby and I see them outside quiet often..never inside...they look so different to a rabbit with striking markings and long legs..four of them.
Now as to sovereign citizens I am afraid I would line up to use the electric gun on them..I am very tolerant but those folk really annoy me..their arrogance is tiresome...their stupidity is painful...They claim to know the law and their rights..but they get their law from Blackmores Law Dictionary..you dont get law from a dictionary...they talk about common law without a clue what the common law means at all.
But I do feel sorry for them as they have been conned by some fool on the net...and thinking about it I could not hurt one of them at all.
I hope you and Alice have a most enjoyable Easter.

The quality you are trying to describe is ...flexible☺
I think maybe when I reference violence it is a sad observation of how it is somewhat the norm...I was watching a youtube video and the guy said he buys 500 rounds of ammunition each time he goes shopping in preparation for the day of collapse and he will have to kill folk to protect what is his...I guess my comment was having a go at that type..go to mass and after go out and kill.
A happy weekend to you also Les.
You are one of the good guys ..you care and you make a difference.
You guys wont believe this but for the last two days I have made friends with a small house fly.
I know its the same fly as one of his wings has a unique upturn on the end...but he sits in the one spot on my lap top..to the left away from where I roll the mouse around...he just came back now but he is sitting on my knee...I am sure he knows that I would not hurt a fly and at least feels safe...folk look at these small creatures devoid of compassion which is their loss..firstly they have to kill them and that is sad for both parties...secondly they are annoyed by their presence but I look at small creatures and think how lucky I am to have a life which offers more experience than theirs also I am able to remember they have advantages that I do not...they can fly which I cant do..honest..I cant..I dont even try...and he has multiple eyes which frankly I envy.
I am trying to regain my composure and here is why...I am still stacking re Eta Carina...I awoke to save the lastest stack and noticed my five startool processed files were not in the DSS file list...their disappearance announced yesterdays work was all gone...however when I opened the folder in Startools all the completed files were there...what a relief but my composure has yet to settle...hey you should see my little fly he is right back sitting on the lappy in the same spot as yesterday and the day before and the day before that...
And folk forget all life shares a common ancestor.
Anyways got a little more to stack ..onto HA now and there are 200 subs so that will run for a while.
I wonder if the fly can see the images ..maybe thats what he is doing..maybe he sees it better than me.

I dont like blood sports other than cage fighting...I like it because thats what we did when I was a kid...but never blood back then...it was fun I often think to take it up again.

Looking at the cloudy rainy weather predicted for the long weekend here in Brisbane, it doesn't look like I'll be able make any use of my scope. :(
It was drizzling rain when I woke up this morning about 5am.

There is always online astro shopping, which can be dangerous to the bank balance. I have been browsing the Teleskop-services website this morning.

Yup, going to be a wet one here, apparently. We sure need it, summer was very lean on the rain front.

We had an interesting thread here some time back re fishing.
Some thought it was cruel some did not but none one sought testimony from a fish.

Many lessons were learnt that thread. As I understand it, since biblical times the fish themselves were divided.

Speaking of things Biblical and fish... As a kid I was accustomed to spending Easter watching one or two Cecil B deMille epics - usually Ten Commandments or Samson and Delilah... replete with a long list of the big movie stars from that era.
Yvonne de Carlo and Hedi Lamarr... sigh...
Or Cyd Charisse and Fred Astaire in Band Wagon... she was easily the most superb dancer Hollywood ever had, and what a figure...
Seems the FTA channels have forgone that tradition.

You can still find those old movies on FTA occasionally, especially in non-rating periods around Christmas. White Christmas had some outstanding dance numbers with Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen (who would be my pick for the best dancers of the era.).
They also pop up on late night TV now and then. I wonder if nursing homes have a stock of these things on DVD.
There is a modern (2016) remake of Ben Hur appearing on Ch 9 tonight.
Nick I loved that movie, The Ten Commandments.
When I was a kid we never had meat on any Friday, and when out with my patents before we had a meal we would have to bless our self's in front of every one before eating, I nearly shrunk under the seat with embarrassment.
However we survived and i am still here.
