Hi Jeremy,

Is it the wee little screw that fits into the knob that you are after?

If it is, these would be called grub screws. By the look of things, the ones for the knob very likely will be M3 in size. If you have an M3 screw, try it to see if it will wind in. If it's the right size, it narrows your search.

Found this assortment of grub screws on Ebay UK:

If it's the complete knobs you are after, have you asked Astro Boot? If you are able to measure the size of the spure the knobs fit over they should be able to help.

Have you asked the UK distributor of Skywatcher products? They do carry spare parts as they also repair items.

Yes, OVL, I am awaiting a reply, but they don't carry spares so if they can get parts it will be a two month wait from China

Something else you might try Jeremy is a local electronics store (here in AUS it would be Jaycar). They often stock different knobs used for amplifiers, radio's etc; you may find something similar to what you are looking for... worth checking out...

For the purpose at hand (as per the Youtube clip) the knob seems a bit improvised. Could you not do it properly and use a timing pulley with matching belt? Those come in all shapes and sizes, including with set screw. The pulleys often have rims, so the belt won't slip off at the most inopportune moment.
