Looking for something to image on a pretty good night I thought I would give NGC 5189 a go. It's a fairly popular object and I've imaged it many times before but this is the first time with the current gear. Being fairly bright it only required about 8 hours of imaging time.
Cheers
Steve

A very fine image. Deep, lots of nebular detail, and beautiful RGB star colours.

Thanks M&T. Yes, I was pretty happy with this one. t's certainly the best image of it that I've taken.

Really nice Steve! It looks near identical to what I was seeing visually through a 32” over the weekend... in greyscale though.

Nice one Steve. It's not an easy target to do justice to, but you've done that in spades here.

Thanks Peter. It's one I keep coming back to and every new image I do of it seems to be a little better than the last one.
Thanks Colin. Matt Saarikko emailed me saying he was observing it with a 32". He must have been with you.
Thanks Geoff. I've had plenty of practice with it. You have to carefully balance the bright and faint areas when you are processing it.

Thanks Mike. Hopefully I didn't overdo the saturation.
