Two images for comment please.
A fellow local astronomer does a better job processing than my ,submitted, NGC 4372,
Sombrero needs no explanation.

Well done Chris.

You have hot pixels in both images so you need to employ some darks in your imaging and processing. More data will also help clean up the detail. Great effort. Keep it up

Thanks Ryan,
I know I need the darks, just need the time to take them.

Pictures taken with Canon 60Da at prime focus of Mewlon 210
Off axis guiding with Orion Thin Off axis guider

The glob: ten frames 240 seconds ISO 800
Sombrero 9 frames of 210 seconds ISO 800

I used to struggle with the Mewlon on a HEQ-5 Pro much better now with a decent mount on a pier.

Thanks to the people who offered me advice on processing in a recent thread the attached image is the result.
9 images single binned daks subtracted then debayered
7 images binned 2X2 darks subtracted and resized X2.

The attached image is a crop of the central region.

Some slight progress so further advice/criticism welcome.
