Hi,
I've just been talking to Andrew from Optics Central who mentioned a new firmware version for the NEQ6. Apparently a beta version has been available for a while, but this is an official release that will support star alignment and so reduce the need to use polar scope. I had a quick look at the skywatcher site but there's nothing there after early 2018 regarding firmware.
Does anyone have any more info on this?
Cheers
Stephen
