Taken (mostly) on the one completely clear night at a dark sky camp I was at last week.

6 hours lum (5 mins each) and 3 x 1 hour RGB (5 mins each). ASI1600MM-C + RC8 on an AP Mach1.

Struggled with processing this one. Comments welcome.

Astrobin version here (http://www.astrobin.com/395997/).

Top shot! I'm after this one soon too but I don't think I'll do as well as you.

Hi Paul,
that's a superb image.

you must have had excellent seeing conditions -
let me guess - under 2 arc seconds FWHM?

cheers

Thanks Allan.

Well, the FWHM of the final luminance stack before any postprocessing is just under 2.3". But the individual luminance frames run from 1.9" to something like 2.7" .. though most were under 2.4".
