T Adapter

I have just purchased a T adapter ring so that I can attach my dslr to my scope. After watching a couple of vids on youtube, it appears that I also need an additional tube adapter also. Just wondering if someone could please confirm what parts are required apart from the ring to enable viewing on a dob? Thank you

I use 1.25 and 2" depending on what I am doing, remember to balance the scope for additional weight AND will the scope take the weight of a camera ?

T2 adapter rings and nose pieces are $7 from China including postage, I have many and they are as good as shops who sell them at 10 times the price (having got them from China !!!!)

Many Dobs do not have enough back focus to allow the attachment of a DSLR.
If you have a Skywatcher/Saxon you are in luck because all their Newts/Dobs
do, and you don't need any adaptors other than the T-ring, just unscrew the 1.25" eyepiece holder, and the T-ring screws directly onto the male thread
that is then exposed.

If you still have the above DOB, then I'd say you have all you need already, as per Raymo's post.

It really is a simple attachment process, as described, just unscrew the 1.25" barrel and screw in the T adapter (attached to your DSLR).

My Dob is an 8" Skywatcher so hopefully I'm in luck. :)
