Hi
Skies were unusually dark at Wallsend last night, so did 1 hour on the Horsehead.
4x15 mins, ISO 400. Idas uv/ir, Baader UHC-S filters, MPCC, modded 350D, 10 inch f5.6 newtonian off axis hand guided. Processed with dark, flats and offset in Iris as usual. Finished off in Photoshop.

naaa, very ordinary effort mr alder, there are no satellites, blooming of stars and there is too much of that diffuse nebulae.....

Actually there is one very faint satellite track running down from top left to bottom middle :)

Wow, very nice Scott! Very reminiscent in colour and exposure to a David Malin image I have. Excellent!

Absolutely stunning shot of this. I want to use my TOA130 with the 400D when I eventually get all the drive train connected. If I can come close to this I will be chuffed.
It would be nice to see some photos thru your TOA, Peter.
I did one of the HH with the TOA but high cloud spoiled most of the frames.
Can't wait to have another go.
