Clear night but not really great seeing...lots of moisture.

So again not worth setting up the 80mm narrow band but easy to plonk down the BWM take a star circle shot for PA and away you go...

Just as well as conditions got a lot worse but I managed to keep 106 at 30 second subs at 1600 is using the Nikon D5500 at 50mm … lost a few because of planes...and also took 26 dark frames.
Deepsky stacker,Startools, Photoshop and Gimp for processing.

I was very happy with the detail ( but I little disappointed about the noise) for M42 and the Flame Neb. The colour I am not sure about but that is what seemed to come out...I hope the saturation is ok and wont get worse when I look at how it posted:D.

Star trailing was not to bad.

I think I can see a little pony in there, too!

Great detail, Alex. Such a rich field.

Thanks Shane.
Here I stacked the last 12 subs just for fun...the lens had no dew but the sky was rather moist:D

Fascinating image, Alex and dazzlingly beautiful colour in the Orion close-up, but what is a BWM?

Cheers,
Richard

Thanks Richard.
BWM=Bojan Widefield Mount.
A mount that was old and useless which Bojan a member here helped out with...see the DIY section for a run down.
But it is a mount with the dec removed to reduce weight and set up just to take a camera.
