Sixty 120-second images from an ASI071MCPro and a Long Perng 127mm refractor. Captured with SharpCap, combined in Nebulosity and post-processed in Photoshop.

A good hamburger in record time there.

The stars seem a bit sequin-like. With that gear and short exposures they should be pin-points. Perhaps the white point is being set a little too low at processing time. Less clipping of the whites and more curve might give better stars.

None of that affects the galaxy itself, which is very good for the exposure. A much longer exposure is justified.

Looking forward to seeing much more of your work.

Best,
MnT

I love this Galaxy Tim. It was my first and I'm looking forward to getting back to it again this year. Your Galaxy is so nice and clear. Great work !

I'm confused and maybe someone more knowledgeable can help. Is that camera rotation in the outer stars ?
