This is 2.5 hours and could use a lot more; fog cut my session short last night.

It's an interesting and pretty object; supposedly the bright central star is in a pre-supernova phase.

SAO 172542 is the yellow star within the bubble.

Very nice! That's one of my favourite objects. Which lens-filters?

Thanks Kevin. It was through the TS72 with a .8 reducer and IDAS P2 filter.
I hope to get it looking better with more time.

A great capture and an interesring object.
It may benefit from more exposures but you have nailed it.
I envy the amount of time you are getting in...I am in Sydney and its been cloudy..little rain but I have so many little things to do that I just want a bit of clear sky ..even full Moon is ok☺.

I've been grabbing every opportunity to get out Alex; it's hot for the next few nights and cloudy tonight so time for a break.

Nice Tony! Some (more?) background extraction might really bring it out.

Fixing up the background would make it pop Chris; I guess layer masks are the way to do that but I haven't figured those out yet.

I got the 45 day trial of Pixinsight and did a dynamic background extraction on this image; it looks a little better but still a challenging object for my skill level and equipment.
