Hi Guys,
Here's a shot taken last night of Rosette with the C10 F4.7 10 x 8 minutes at ISO 800 with the unmodded 350d. used baader UHC-S filter + coma corrector. I wasnt that impressed how it turned out in the end as i spent a total of 80mins on exposure. A faint object indeed... till next time...

Wow, that's a very closeup view. Excellent detail though and the stars look fantastic!

Still a nice image Eric!!!
True its not a easy target being so faint...A nice dark sky really helps.
Well done...cheers Gary

Hi Eric,
A nice try anyway, It is a low surface brightness object, your last picture of it in the full mode was better, in fact very good for an unmodified camera, if you consider that the Ha sensitivity is some 30% down on a modded Camera, your optics must be good the diffrication spikes are very symetrical in this picture, good guiding also, keep em coming.
cheers.......Jim

cheers guys thanks. I have to admit, it was better with my 8" scope the last time i gave this object a shot. I should just get my camera modded.
