Hotel Recommendations....

Hello! I'll be visiting Australia in about a month.... Looking for hotels, one for two nights in Sydney and for one night in Newcastle.... The Sydney hotel might best be in the north-east suburbs, sort of on the way to Newcastle..

Budget is a definite concern....less than $200 AUD per night??? Not sure of pricing there....

Just the basic amenities, nothing fancy.....no need for a pool or exercise rooms or other puffery...

Can I get some recommendations based upon your experience?

I visited the Sydney area February 2018. You can get accomodation for less than $100 in decent private houses.
