First attempt at moon using scope rather than tradional lenses.
Celestron C8N-GT + televew 2x 2" powermate + nikon D2X
1/80 ISO 250 , other than white ballance adjustment out of camera resized.
Mice Moon you have there, very crisp and clear, well done. ;)
Cheers Leon

thanks,i am just learning it all (my first scope).the full 12MP photo is pretty special looking
probally one of the worst areas for photos, newtown.
i have no view below 30degree and nothing from NW to S unless its very high in the sky and a streetlight 5M from back yard.hardly ideal conditions.
at least ill get to drag my gear to true dark sky (deniliquin) in a few weeks for 2 weeks.last time i was there i had my scope for 3 months and there was so many stars i couldnt find what i needed to star align haha

i think MICE is better
Darrell
I lived in Newtown for 10 years before travelling all over the country through work.
That's not an astro-friendly part of the world.
You've done well:thumbsup:

What can I say that the others haven't? Wonderful first attempt, especially considering your location.
