This was an exercise again with short exposures not because auto guide was playing up but the seeing was very jumpy and little clouds kept rolling in and out of the field of view...I had to disgard a great deal but expect there is about 3.5 hours of data all up...no darks or special treatment as I don't feel like really trying whist I have oval stars ..see below.

I am having trouble with oval stars on the outer limits which I corrected to a large degree but the problem still has not gone away..I had altered the filter wheel and moved things and cant find the sweet spot I once had although I am starting to think the sensor may not now be laying perfect..I have a tilt corrector on the 8 inch that I may put on the 80mm...anyways there is still so much stuff I need to do, so I thought lets see how high I can run the gain and so most of this was captured at 30 seconds with gain from 350 to 400... surprisingly the data ws not too bad surprising really..Used all filters except O11 and S11 which I took but screwed both sets up a little so did not include them in this work up,..now I know its too saturated for most but I like this approach as I see more detail...I did have my eyes checked but the specialist said I can leave doing my cataracts for 18 months:D Anyways been on this for two days and probably lost all sense of what is right...

Details..80mm triplet,ZWO 1600 running at -15degrees,HEQ5 standing on cement pavers:D Woolies insect repelant, lap top and electrics via 12 volt 120 amp battery running 200 watt inverter (with 120 watt solar panel..which charges only in day time....batty focuser mask, captured via Sharpcap, Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker, Initial process in Star Tools, Images combined in Photoshop, used dodge and burn for highlighting, Gimp to brighten and contrast and a level adjustment and downsizing for transmission.

It sized down to 220 odd and it seems so much brighter but there you go:)

The image has been cropped a great deal to minimise the oval stars.

maybe this is better ..at least I tried to turn it down a little

You should collect all your recent images together, frame them, and start an abstract art gallery; you'd make a killing.

It never ceases to amaze me Alex what you produce. We all have our own ways we like to process and a style of image we like to present. Yours by far are the most unique and incredibly artistic we ever see. Keep up the great work

Thank you Raymo and thank you Ryan.
It sure looks brighter today☺.

It is ironic that only months ago I could not get colour in my images and now cant seem to tone it down...but I am still setting up still learning, still to build a dark library still to build my light box, plate solve, fit the electric focus and control it via the lappy...and there is more thankfully. ..I need to live longer than I had planned☺.

The good news.
I went to Bunnings to buy another table expecting to pay $50 and they had one the perfect size for $19 ... so happy about that.

The crucial components for the Bojan Wide Field mount are waiting at the Post Office so hopefully if I am lucky maybe tomorrow night may see it up and running...but a big day tomorrow..buying a new pump
..a flash one with twin impellers and 6.5 hp and I just know fitting it will be a huge effort given the confinned working space. And have not had time to get much needed gold☺
