I set out to play with the tuning on the Quark and got a bit closer to optimal.
First 2 pics are (1)with tuning full anti clock and (2) in default 0 position .
Then took some pics of activity and find with the new tuning the proms are much easier to image . :thumbsup:

Yes it hasn't been to bad was a bit worse today compared to last time I was out. I was limited to the 80mm scope and lots of sucker holes :D

Still clouded out down here....
The tuning range certainly shows the ability to change the CWL.
I'd definitely be working closer to the CCW limit than the zero position.

Per previous discussions with Daystar Re operating temperatures (as the Quark only heats not cools) I think the ambient temperature and higher solar energy here in Oz has a strong role to play.

Yes I agree I keep it shaded for that reason I may even try un powered as well
