Anyone Heard of Tianlang Telescopes

Hey everyone,


I was browsing through Gumtree and saw a posting for a Tianlang D80 F600 Refractor Telescope for $160 new.

Does anyone here know anything about them or of the Tianlang brand? Very little info to work off on the posting and zero info on Google. Just curious

Never heard of them before. Several different models on aliexpress, all of which are noted as being "no longer available". If you've got a spare $160 to spend you could be brave, but i reckon you might be getting $160 worth of disappointment.

Looks to me like they’re rebranding Bosma gear. It’s a cheap achro, not an APO, and at f/7 you’ll see some colour.

:mad2: And one more thing ,,, how is it that when someone is trying to sell an unknown brand of unknown quality on any of these sites , Gumtree , Ebay etc that is probably a second or third the photo's they post really sux ! .

I would avoid :thumbsup: and buy from a reputable source like here in the classifieds or one of the few astro shops around .

ps. , you would do way better grabbing the Vixen 80mm that RichardJ has for sale in the classifieds for $100, a scope of very good known quality .
