I seem to do all my observing with SCT's and Maks these days and haven't really used this scope for a while so I'm thinking of selling.
It's an 80mm f/7 ED doublet (560mm focal length). Condition is excellent.
Features & included items:
Excellent dual-speed 2.5" R&P focuser with 2" step-down adapter
Dovetail bracket for finderscope
Retractable dew shield
Clamshell with Vixen-style rail. The clamshell allows the tube to slide forwards or backwards easily to balance the scope (e.g. if changing eyepieces)
Objective cap
High quality padded case with space for accessories & eyepieces. I particularly like the fact that the scope can be stored with the diagonal attached
Note: Diagonal*, eyepiece & finder shown in photos are not included.
Asking $500.
* GSO 2" Dielectric diagonal and standard 2"-1.25" adapter available for $90 with the scope.
Pickup preferred in Sydney (Ryde) as I no longer have the boxes but will consider requests to ship.
