Hi Guys,
Well the heading says it all, yep Alice was flying to Melbourne from Rockhampton today.
We booked probable two months ago and had all the email tickets and all that sort of stuff.
She was to board at 8.30am, with Virgin Airlines so we left early from Emu Park so we would have plenty of time to check in, so to speak.
Anyway to make a long story short, we were driving toward the Airport and saw this plane in the sky, Alice said in fun "look they left without me", and ya know what they did.
They Virgin changed their flights without noticing Alice at all, so we rocked up at the desk and there was not a person in sight, so we asked a security person why everything was closed.
He went out the back and this most helpful Virgin Person came out and said "well you are the only on that missed the flight because it was changed to 7.30am,
But she, Alice was never notified.
OK this is getting longer than i thought, they were so helpful offered Alice up grades, meal vouchers and all sorts of stuff.
The young woman was fantastic, nothing was a bother to her and i wish i could say thank you, well i did but i mean there are a lot of good people out here
