The curse is real.
I upgraded my equipment from achromat + beginner DSLR to RC scope + cooled mono cam for LRGB imaging and clouds followed me across 3 continents for more than 6 months.
Had only a few hours of clear skies in Nov and Dec last year to collect some data for my first LRGB image, and here it is.
Still new to LRGB processing so comments are very much welcomed.

I bought my gear in december 201 and it was cloudy till JUNE 2017
I can not comment on your processing astrophotography wise but as a professional photographer, it does appear the image is "flat", unsharp ?
BUT nice

Yes, I tried some basic sharpening tools available in PS but couldn't do much justice without introducing a lot of noise.
Man.... the curse is strong

Cress,
whilst I think the image presented is quite good, especially colour and general processing I think you may have been fighting against seeing in your location. That will always make it hard to process a sharper image. All you can do is capture better data. That might be hard in Malaysia in general.

I also like the colours. Detail is a little soft as has been mentioned. It would be worth checking your subs to see if they're all soft or you can get an improvement by excluding lower quality subs (high FWHM) or giving them a lower weight when stacking.
Cheers,
Rick.
