View Full Version here: : Saturn - Feb, 10 (Canberra)
Managed to capture this earlier this morning, in the only gap that appeared in the cloud all night/morning:sadeyes:
I'm quite happy with the Cassini Division given the seeing was 5/10 at best.
However, the crepe ring is the most pleasing aspect. I'm not sure I've ever captured it quite so prominently before?
I think I've got my SCT collimation just about right:)
Thanks for looking

Nicely done Matt.
Imagine what a DMK would have been able to achieve this morning then. :eyepop:
 :poke: :poke:
Thanks Paul. I'm nearly over the line on the DMK.
Close. Very close.

Nice result Matt. One of your best this season?
I think so, Mike.
Happy to have captured that with Saturn season heading to a close and Jove on the rise:thumbsup:

very nice mate, gotta be happy with that??
any nude struts in the nationals capital???
Not from me, Davo:lol:
I'm saving that for Jupiter.
Saturn's more a prelude to a nude strut. More a quick wriggle in a pair of speedos. Close, but not quite the full monty!

:scared::scared3:
Matt, do you mind if I have a play with the colour?
Go for it, Paul
Colour looks OK on my screen, but you know how computer screens are.
What do you think needs adjusting?

Looks a bit pink on my laptop is all. I might have gone a tad too far though :P
Oh yeah,
Can see that when I compare it with your re-jig.
I've noticed I do lean a little toward the red channel.
Cheers, mate:thumbsup:
