I split Sirius for the first time a couple of nights ago when it was close to the meridian. Only average seeing, but the pup was comfortably visible in the eyepiece. The video capture required careful exposure adjustment.

Short video is here (https://vimeo.com/310285665?utm_source=email&utm_medium=vimeo-cliptranscode-201504&utm_campaign=29220).

You've done well Graeme. I'm still to tick this one off but you've inspired me to try again.

Cheers, Chris

Thanks all for the comments. Position angle is a little north of east and the separation is about the same as the Rigel pair. It looks closer in the video as you have to way overexpose the primary to make the Pup visible.
