Greetings all

I was wondering how I would accurately describe this conjunction. There are five planets almost in a perfect line with the sun.

Would this be a five planet conjunction with the sun?

Thanks

They're not in a line. They appear aligned because they're in the same plane, the ecliptic. It's like looking at a pizza on its side. All the olives on the surface will look like they're aligned because they're on the same plane. :)

OK, so it is not a conjunction. So what would you call it?

That doesn't have any particular name that I'm aware of. It's pretty much what the planets look like in the sky every night. They're mostly more or less around the ecliptic plane.

Planetary alignments are heliocentric.

A geocentric view like that is not particularly interesting and has no name..
