Image 1.
Rosette Neb details
Canon 5DH. Canon 300mm F2.8 at f2.8,Astronomic 10nm HA filter, 4x10 min at ISO 200. Median in Registar.
This gives an idea of the field 6.8x4.6 degrees.

Image 2.
Gum 37 38, 9x10 min same conditions as above.

Image 3.
Mosaic of all three Gum and Vela SNR images.

Image 4.
A map made with Star Atlas Pro of the mosaic

Just shows how big these faint nebula and SNR are.

well done Bert. Theres even plenty of faint background Ha stuff round the outside of the Rosette. The Gum has plenty too. Weather has been awful in Newcastle, clouded out for nearly a full week, and likely to be till possibly past the New Moon. If it was clear Id like to try possibly a narroband o3 filter with your lens on them
