First image in over 2 years - evil algorithm of work and weather. First image with a mono camera (Zwo ASI1600mm Pro). First time using Sequence Generator Pro. First Narrow Band image. First BiColour image and lastly first time using Pixinsight.
A lot to learn as this one has no noise reduction done no star reduction or sharpening and nothing else of the miriad of things that Pixinsight can do. These will have to be learned as I go on with it. Megrez 90 wqith .85 reducer, AZEQ6 mount and ASI1600mm Pro camera using unity gain. 20*2 minutes on each of Ha and OIII. Used Pixel Math to produce a synthetic Green channel. Pretty happy with the result so far, but as I mentioned before - heaps to learn so go ahead and give as much advice as possible. Astrobin version is here (https://www.astrobin.com/full/383242/0/)

Bruce well done. A bloody good image for your first NB image.
As you have mentioned, Pixinsight has many tools to massage the image even further.
The problem with PI is that there are so many processes that one would never use them. i have just purchased PI and i am very happy with the results. Some good tutorials on the web to look at. But as with you much more to learn.

Thanks Alex, yes I’m happy with the result.
Thanks John, it’s going to be a steep learning curve to make headway with pixinsight, but it will be a rewarding one as it seems most of the successful imagers use it.
