I managed to get a total of 18 hrs on the Tarantula before the cloud returned. 10.5 hrs Ha and 7.5 hrs OIII for this image. I am still learning how to drive Pixinsight, but this is a rough process of the data to see what was there. Now to fine tune the depth of the blue when I get a chance.
Taken with an Esprit 120 and Atik One 6 on EQ8 mount.

Holy moly! You guys are on fire! The only thing I'm looking at in Sydney is clouds right now. That should be in the deepsky section not the Beginners. :2thumbs:

Thanks Marc. There will be wall to wall cloud and rain here from late tomorrow for the next week or more if the weather man is correct.

That is a wonderful photo Brian.
I envy getting that much clear sky given my run here.
Any properties for sale in your area☺
Again great work.

Thanks Chris.
Rick, I was lucky to get 3 or 4 nights over a week where it was clear looking back towards the south, but the clouds put paid to getting anymore on it. I was going to add SII and probably will at some point.
Thanks Alex. It is back to cloud here as well, I got an hour and a half on Thor's helmet last night in between clouds. The problem here is that all the acreage is being cut up into 400 m blocks and they are sticking duplexes and town houses on them. A new light pollution dome popped up down the road last month - I cant image to the west so it doesn't impact me at the moment.
