I had a look at the conjunction last night too in Sydney. No imaging though. Conditions were very poor with poor seeing that degenerated as the night progressed, and very strong wind that changed direction to really buffet our location. All yje same, a lovely experience.

I'm really glad someone managed to caputre this event :)

Nice catch indeed !
But was it low in the sky ?
I see color errors on Mars (red on top, blue on bottom) which are no optical errors, but a result of atmospheric refraction.

Maybe starting to get a bit low, less than ideal I guess. However you've got to factor in the poor Jetstream conditions overhead, the high level cirrus cloud covering the sky, the gusting wind, it's an iPhone camera not necessarily aligned perfectly with the eyepiece on a 2.8m wobbly stack in a light polluted suburban backyard with no shroud or light baffling, operated in "close enough, she'll be right" mode ;).
