The subject this month is : "something under pressure"

Reminder ...
* This thread is only for posting your entry, together with any comments/explanation/details you'd like to issue concerning your own photo.
* comments on other entries, or "other" shots of your own you'd like to share, can be posted in the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=1407322#post140732 2).

In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have submitted to a previous photo challenge, unless of course it has already been voted a winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame".

Good Luck! and Have a (Safe) Merry Christmas and I'll see you next year !!! :reindeer: :xmas:

How about 45,000 PSI of pressure...but for only a very brief time.

(several dozen 2ltr soda water bottles had their pressure released instantaneously as well this day :P)

I took this shot of Monte Somma and Vesuvius which is about 10km away on a recent visit to Pompeii, it is still an active volcano.

Looks like a jellyfish to me .

Wow, this was so messy despite the kitchen sink catching them, there was water everywhere and I was saturated, thank goodness it was a hot summer night .

A lot of balloons met their demise to get my two  shots last weekend.
At the end of the shoot late at night I ended up with a large and colourful collection in my plughole so I went on another creative tangent the next day; no one was allowed to use that sink, lucky it's a double .
